Classes

Hula is an art rich in tradition, history, and culture. We welcome students of all ages and skill levels to join our Hula Ohana (family). We currently have classes for Wahine (women) and Keiki (children). Check out our class schedules below:

Beginner keiki classes open to children between the ages of 7-12. Sundays 8:30am-9:15am LIV'ART Dance Studio 11044 Weddington St. North Hollywood, 91601

Beginner Wahine

Beginner classes will teach the hula basics in detail, cover some language, and introduce cultural practices necessary to build a strong hula foundation. Sundays 9:15am-10:30am LIV'ART Dance Studio 11044 Weddington St. North Hollywood, 91601 Tuesdays 7:30pm-8:30pm Screenland Studios 10501 Burbank Blvd. North Hollywood, 91601 Studio entrance is through the parking lot gate on Strohm Ave. Beginners are also welcome to attend Basics Class as well.

Intermediate wahine

Intermediate class follows the Thursday Basics class, while beginners are welcome to join, the class has a higher pace and more complex choreography. Thursdays 8pm-9pm Screenland Studios 10501 Burbank Blvd. North Hollywood, 91601 Studio entrance is through the parking lot gate on Strohm Ave.

Basics

Class dedicated to practicing hula fundamentals. Open to all levels. Thursdays 7pm-8pm Screenland Studios 10501 Burbank Blvd. North Hollywood, 91601 Studio entrance is through the parking lot gate on Strohm Ave.
